Capturing Film

I know I probobly don't have to money for this...but what kind of equipment is needed to capture real 16mm or 35mm to a computer so i could edit it non liniar?

They are called Facilities Houses, you would find some in Soho, London, and in 1995 you could rent an edit suite for ?300ph -- I'd imagine a Telecine job would have a comparable cost unless you wanted the village idiot doing your TK

In this business you cant buy all the equipment you need. You go to a post house and have the footage transferred to whatever tape format you want to edit on.
